TAPP Workforce Solutions is seeking a hands-on Quality Control Test Technician for power electronics production. You’ll run inspections and acceptance tests, troubleshoot failures, and document results to ensure only units meeting spec ship.

The role emphasizes practical testing with DMMs, oscilloscopes, and power analyzers, enabling you to build technical depth in power electronics within a team environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in the electric industry.
• Two-year technical degree in Applied Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual (pre-power) inspections on all product lines.
• Conduct production line acceptance testing, including insulation and function tests.
• Troubleshoot failed units and provide timely solutions.
• Record test results and complete required test reports and documentation.
• Report issues found on failed units.
• Perform some mechanical assembly and handle large gauge cables.
