Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electronics Technician to join a state-of-the-art electronics reliability lab in Milwaukee, WI. The role focuses on electrical, thermal, and reliability characterization of critical components, building test boards, and following precise work instructions to ensure robust designs.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with soldering, multimeters, and test equipment, and can read schematics, troubleshoot from board to component level, and manage multiple test requests

Qualifications

• Proficiency in electronics and soldering techniques.
• Comfortable using multimeters and handling voltages up to 50 volts.
• Experience building test boards, running tests, and debugging designs.
• Ability to probe and analyze failures to determine root causes.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, thermal, and reliability characterization of critical electrical components.
• Create and assemble test boards according to specifications.
• Follow detailed work instructions to conduct tests effectively.
• Track test requests and acquire necessary component samples.
• Generate detailed test reports as required.
• Adhere to electrical safety best practices at all times.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics accurately.
