Job summary

Kelly Professional & Industrial is seeking Electronics Quality Technicians I for a direct‑hire role in Salt Lake City, UT. You will inspect PCB assemblies, perform soldering and rework, document results, and collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure products meet requirements.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, hands‑on electronics experience, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; IPC training or certification preferred.
• Hands‑on electronics manufacturing, inspection, and rework experience.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Familiarity with inspection methods, documentation, and data entry.
• Good manual dexterity and comfort using precision tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual and functional inspections of PCB assemblies.
• Inspect assemblies under magnification per IPC workmanship standards.
• Identify defects, soldering concerns, and nonconforming conditions.
• Perform soldering, desoldering, and rework on through‑hole and surface‑mount parts.
• Document inspection results and enter data into quality systems.
• Support production testing and basic troubleshooting of assemblies.
