Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is seeking an experienced Assistant Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced electronics environment. You will supervise production personnel, drive productivity, support quality initiatives, and ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires overseeing 50+ workers, coordinating schedules and resources, and communicating with upper management on issues, equipment needs, and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Proven ability to effectively manage and motivate large production teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet demanding production schedules.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 50+ production employees.
• Set weekly productivity goals for manufacturing cells and ensure performance targets are achieved.
• Provide technical support, training, and guidance to production personnel.
• Monitor production schedules and coordinate resources to meet customer and operational requirements.
• Communicate effectively with upper management regarding production issues, equipment needs, staffing concerns, and operational performance.
• Manage material and equipment resources to support production demands.
• Promote a quality-first culture and ensure adherence to manufacturing standards and procedures.
• Identify process improvements and implement effective solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Troubleshoot production challenges and develop alternative solutions when issues arise.
• Foster a positive work environment by motivating employees and encouraging teamwork.
• Ensure all employees are treated fairly, consistently, and professionally.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
