Job summary

Connectly Recruiting seeks a Production Supervisor for a fast-paced manufacturing environment in the United States. You will oversee daily production operations, coordinate maintenance, and lead a team to meet quality and safety standards.

You will spend time on the production floor, coach employees, and drive continuous improvement across processes. A High School diploma and 1–2 years of leadership experience are required, with a preference for a Bachelor’s in a related field.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment are required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of leadership experience in a foundry environment preferred.
• Prior lead/supervisor roles or leadership training are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily production and maintenance activities to meet goals and customer needs.
• Communicate with foremen and team members to align priorities and resources.
• Create team assignments and set clear expectations for efficient workflow.
• Monitor schedules, resources, and workforce capacity; adjust as needed.
• Maintain appropriate levels of non-inventory supplies to support daily operations.
• Track department performance and implement corrective actions.
• Lead daily start-up meetings and communicate throughout the day.
• Spend time on the production floor to support employees.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained across production processes.
• Train new employees on safety, equipment operation, and duties.
• Collaborate with management to identify improvement opportunities and resolve challenges.
• Conduct performance reviews and coaching conversations.
• Identify training opportunities to boost performance and engagement.
• Promote workplace safety and continuous process improvement.
• Monitor attendance and maintain accurate records.
• Complete required data entry in company systems.
• Coordinate Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) responsibilities.
• Participate in meetings on coaching, safety, and business strategy.
• Assist with candidate interviews and onboarding activities.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
