Job summary

Rocket EMS, Inc. is seeking a Production Expeditor to move materials, work orders, and assemblies through manufacturing stages with focus on on-time delivery.

You will coordinate between production, materials, and engineering to resolve shortages and bottlenecks while maintaining accurate WIP visibility. Key responsibilities include monitoring daily schedules, updating leaders and program managers, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality policies.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, materials, or production control.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and work order tracking in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in supply chain, manufacturing, or business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review daily production schedules and priorities to identify delays.
• Track and expedite materials through SMT, through-hole, test, and final assembly.
• Communicate with production leads and planners to resolve schedule issues.
• Coordinate with materials team to locate or substitute parts to prevent downtime.
• Provide daily status updates on critical work orders.
• Escalate shortages or bottlenecks impacting delivery commitments.
