Rocket EMS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Buyer to manage purchasing activities supporting production schedules, customer requirements, and inventory targets.

You will own supplier relationships, place and track purchase orders, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve shortages and delivery risks. The role requires strong negotiation, analysis, and ERP/MRP proficiency in a contract manufacturing environment, with a focus on cost control and on-time material availability.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years purchasing experience in a contract manufacturing or electronics environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supplier management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills.

Aufgaben

• Review material buy lists and schedules to determine purchasing priorities.
• Place, track, and expedite purchase orders to support production needs.
• Coordinate purchasing with Program Management, Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Finance.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure material availability.
