Job summary

L2T, LLC in Herndon, Virginia seeks an Electronics Circuit Board Technician to operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair SMT pick-and-place equipment and support PCB population and assembly.

You will ensure production quality, uptime, and efficient electronic assembly in a manufacturing environment; read schematics, set up feeders, reels, and machine programs; perform preventative maintenance and document maintenance logs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Experience operating and repairing SMT pick-and-place equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of PCB assembly and electronic manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with IPC standards and ESD handling procedures.
• Citizenship and security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain SMT pick-and-place machines and related equipment.
• Set up feeders, nozzles, component reels, and machine programs for PCB production runs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software issues on pick-and-place equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on SMT production equipment.
• Support PCB population, soldering, rework, and inspection processes.
• Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Verify placement accuracy and production quality per standards.
• Maintain machine logs and production documentation.
