Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced PCB Technician to support the assembly, inspection, and testing of electronic components used in advanced research and development initiatives. This role requires a highly skilled technician with strong soldering expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience/certifications.
• 8+ years of PCB assembly, electronics manufacturing, or related experience.
• Active J-STD-001 Certification.
• Proficiency in SMT and through-hole soldering techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and BOMs.
• Experience working with microscopes and precision inspection tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Conduct detailed inspections using microscopes and other quality control equipment.
• Troubleshoot assembly and workmanship issues while maintaining high quality standards.
• Support prototype, low-volume, and research-focused production efforts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry workmanship and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project and production deadlines.
