Job summary

Leidos is seeking a 2nd Shift Surface Mount Assembly Technician for its Huntsville, AL site. You will work with SMT equipment including stencil printers, P&P, reflow ovens and AOI to assemble PCBA products. The role requires reading drawings and hand soldering as needed.

Qualifications include a HS Diploma/GED with 2–4 years of electronics assembly experience, SMT process knowledge, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance. IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Surface Mount Technology and related SMT processes.
• Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate SMT equipment such as stencil printer, pick & place, reflow oven and AOI.
• Handle hand soldering of SMT and through-hole parts as needed.
• Work under limited supervision and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily targets.
