Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a PCBA Soldering Technician – 2nd shift to produce a variety of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies. The role involves hand soldering of surface mount and through-hole components, soldering under a microscope, and potential rework of various electronic packages.

Candidates must read drawings, follow work instructions, be a US citizen, and obtain a Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with 3–5 years of related experience.
• Experience soldering under a microscope.
• Ability to solder surface mount and through-hole components.
• Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions.
• US Citizen and eligible to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.
• This is a 2nd shift position.

Responsibilities

• Hand solder SMT and through-hole components on PCBs.
• Soldering/working under a microscope.
• Perform rework of various electronic packages.
• Meet day-to-day objectives and impact output.
• Work independently under limited supervision and in team settings.
