Job summary
Collins Aerospace is hiring for an Operations Product Specialist to ensure the functional operation of electronics manufacturing facilities and drive products to on-time delivery. You will mitigate overdue risks, recover to MRP, and coach teammates, working with cross-functional teams to influence manufacturing policies.
The role requires a university degree with 5+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years, and experience in production/operations.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a University degree and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in production, operations, manufacturing, repair, or a related environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute activities related to electronics product creation and manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production process challenges to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Develop strategies for overdue risk mitigation and recovery to MRP schedules.
- Monitor and drive on-time delivery of manufacturing outputs.
- Manage projects or processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to lower-level professionals within the team.
- Collaborate across teams to influence policies, practices, and procedures that impact manufacturing operations.
