Job summary

Spectra-Tech Manufacturing Inc. seeks an Electronics Material Handler to count, identify, move, and store electronic components used in PCB assembly. You will perform inventory cycle counts, verify quantities, and ensure materials are in the correct inventory or production location.

Experience in electronics or inventory is helpful but not required; training will be provided. Starting pay is $17.00/hour with a $500.00 hiring/retention bonus and a $100 monthly attendance award, plus standard

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Material handling or electronics experience is helpful but not required.
• Attention to detail and inventory accuracy are essential.
• Identify and distinguish similar part numbers and components.
• Basic computer, math, and data-entry skills.
• Able to use counting scales, reel counters, scanners, and inventory systems after training.
• Read labels and follow instructions and records.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently and in a team; dependable attendance and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory cycle counts and verify quantities.
• Use reel counters, scales, scanners, and computers to count components.
• Identify components stored in reels, trays, tubes, and bags.
• Compare quantities to records and report discrepancies.
• Move components to correct stockroom, production, or storage locations.
• Complete transfers and material transactions in the computer system.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, lot numbers, date codes, PO info, and locations.
• Maintain labeling and traceability of components.
• Return unused materials to the correct inventory location.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, picking, issuing, and returning materials.
• Prepare and deliver material kits to production areas.
• Separate damaged or nonconforming materials.
• Follow procedures for moisture-sensitive and ESDS components.
• Handle components per ESD controls and FIFO practices.
• Monitor locations and report shortages, overages, or mislabeling.
• Keep shelves and work areas clean and organized.
• Operate carts, pallet jacks, ladders, and related equipment safely.
• Follow safety, quality, and inventory procedures.
