Job summary

Spectra-Tech Manufacturing Inc. is seeking an Electronics Solderer to hand-solder surface-mount and through-hole components onto PCB assemblies. Training is provided; prior soldering or electronics assembly experience is helpful but not required.

Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail are essential. This position offers a starting wage of $18.00 per hour, eligible for a $500 hiring/retention bonus and a $100 monthly perfect attendance award.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in hand soldering or electronics assembly helpful but not required; training provided.
• Ability to read and follow drawings, work instructions, and assembly documentation.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Hand solder surface-mount and through-hole components on PCB assemblies.
• Solder wires, connectors, and terminals as required.
• Use soldering irons, hot-air tools, magnification equipment and hand tools safely.
• Inspect solder joints and assemblies for quality and defects.
• Complete production, quality and traceability documentation.
