Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or similar technical area.
• 3–5 years of electronics manufacturing experience with electrical testing of PCBs or finished goods.
• Lean Six Sigma/5S tools a plus.
• Experience with wiring, cable assemblies, PCBA, soldering, and mechanical assembly of electronics.
• NetSuite experience a plus, or ability to learn new software to assist production.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and designing processes for an electronics manufacturing facility.
• Maximize efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization in an electronic environment.
• Perform daily tasks working hand in hand with production in an Electronic Metering Production Department.
• Determine the parts, equipment, and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
• Generate, review and update work instructions and procedures as necessary to improve cycle times, cost and quality.
• Work on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role with other departments to assist in cost reduction and cycle time improvement.
• Assist engineering with prototype builds and create all necessary documentation to transition product to production.
• Assist production with ERP system (NetSuite/SAP) as necessary to ensure inventory and work orders are properly processed.
