Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in San Jose, CA is hiring an Operations Coordinator to help keep a fast-paced electronics manufacturing operation running smoothly. You will serve as the link between customers, production, and warehouse, ensuring orders move from entry through production to delivery.

In this role you will enter orders into the ERP system, prep travelers, inspect parts, coordinate HOT orders, and support scheduling, documentation, and customer communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing or factory environment, including order entry, shipping & receiving, and customer service.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute with accuracy.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and take initiative.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse and production environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into the ERP system quickly and accurately.
• Prepare job travelers, printing documentation, and organize paperwork with incoming parts.
• Visually inspect parts against traveler documentation for accuracy.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and text regarding delivery dates and updates.
• Coordinate expedited and priority orders to meet customer expectations.
• Work with production, quality, and sales to resolve order issues.
• Assist with warehouse staging and prioritization of parts and production batches.
• Support ERP scanning to track products through production.
• Take and upload photos of discrepant materials for customer notification.
• Assist with scanning and uploading order documentation, including travelers, packing slips, PO and drawings.
• Support customer quoting activities (training provided).
• Maintain organized work areas and follow safety and quality procedures.
• Provide additional operational support to keep production running smoothly.
