Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for the Olathe, KS site to drive ramp‑up and ongoing improvements for electronic board assemblies (PBA/CCA/SMT). You will develop and deploy advanced manufacturing processes, analyze data, and lead cross‑functional teams to maximize efficiency and quality.

The role reports to the ISC Engineering Manager and requires a US citizenship, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and 2+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering or related
• 2+ years relevant manufacturing experience
• US citizen required
• Strong data analysis and process optimization capabilities
• Experience in process development, cross-functional leadership, and adoption of new technologies
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bias for action, adaptable and eager to learn
• 5 years of related work experience (value)
• Electronics assembly experience including SMT and lead soldering (value)
• IPC‑A‑610 & J‑STD‑001 certification (value)
• Aptitude with AI tools (value)
• Lean/Six Sigma or related certifications (value)
• DFMEA/PFMEA/MSA and APQP knowledge (value)
• Knowledge of SAP, Teamcenter (value)

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy manufacturing processes for electronic board assemblies (PBA, CCA, PWA, SMT)
• Support production to maximize line efficiency and operator proficiency
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify process improvements
• Complete RCCA activities to reduce defects and increase yield
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize workflows
