Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical leadership and drive the ramp-up of the Olathe CCA production line. You will develop and implement advanced processes, influence cross-functional teams, and champion change management to enable readiness and sustained production growth.

You will report to the ISC Engineering Manager and work on-site in Olathe, KS, collaborating with design, operations, quality, and supply chain to overcome launch

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, electronics assembly, or related field.
• US citizenship is required for contractual reasons.
• Strong knowledge of electronics assembly processes, standards, and testing methods.
• Experience with SMT, PBA, CCA, PWA and related testing methods.
• Continuous improvement methodologies and data analysis skills.
• Experience with automation technologies & AI tools.
• Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of manufacturing processes for electronic board assemblies.
• Maximize line efficiency, operator proficiency, and equipment optimization.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Lead RCCA activities to reduce defects and increase production output.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and resolve issues.
