Job summary

TT Electronics plc in Olathe, Kansas, seeks a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer to lead the introduction of new electronic products into production and drive process improvements in a highly regulated aerospace/defense environment.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to optimize safety, quality, delivery, and cost while advancing manufacturability and testability through Lean, Six Sigma, and DFx methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition of new products into manufacturing and support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
• Troubleshoot production, test, and product-related issues to support manufacturing operations.
• Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, test equipment, and process improvements.
• Perform root cause investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process specifications.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Design Engineering to improve manufacturability, testability, reliability, and producibility.
• Analyze manufacturing data and identify opportunities for sustainable process improvements.
