Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Olathe, KS is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support the ramp-up of the CCA production line and implement advanced processes that boost productivity, quality, and efficiency.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure a successful production launch and sustained ramp-up for the Olathe facility. This on-site role requires 2+ years of relevant experience and a US citizenship.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering or related field.
2+ years of relevant experience.
U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements.
Proficiency in data analysis and process optimization.
Experience in manufacturing process development and cross-functional leadership.
Excellent communication: oral, written and presentations.
Bias for action and adaptability.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy manufacturing processes for electronic board assemblies (PBA, CCA, PWA, SMT, etc.)
Support production in maximizing manufacturing line efficiency, operator proficiency, and equipment optimization
Analyze manufacturing data to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains
Complete RCCA activities to reduce escapes, limit defects, increase process yield, and increase production output
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production workflows and resolve manufacturing issues
