Job summary

You will manage calibration, support PCB bring-up and testing, maintain inventory, and help with design reviews, ensuring a safe, efficient lab environment. This role blends leadership and hands-on hardware work, requiring 5+ years in electronics labs and strong soldering skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electronics laboratory or hardware development experience.
• Strong soldering, PCB assembly, and rework experience (SMT and through-hole).
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electronic assemblies.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, and related test equipment.
• Familiarity with analog, digital, or embedded systems.
• Experience with Altium Designer, inventory management, or basic scripting (Python, LabVIEW, or TCL).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, organized, and fully operational engineering laboratory.
• Manage calibration and maintenance of electronic test equipment.
• Perform PCB assembly, soldering, rework, and prototype builds.
• Support PCB bring-up, functional testing, hardware debugging, and engineering validation.
• Maintain component inventory, lab supplies, and prototype materials.
• Assist with engineering documentation, BOM verification, and design reviews.
• Recommend improvements to lab processes, equipment, and organization.
