Job summary

BAE Systems, Inc. in Minneapolis invites an Electrical Prototyping Lab Manager to lead a floor-based team of skilled assemblers and technicians. You’ll ensure a safe, efficient prototype environment and guide continuous improvement across processes and equipment.

Bring a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Industrial field and 6+ years of hands-on leadership in electronics prototyping. If you thrive on practical problem solving and managing calibration and lab safety, this role is for you.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Industrial Field and 6+ years experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to direct, delegate, and measure the performance of electronics technicians and assemblers.
• Strong communication skills for instructing personnel on safety procedures and equipment usage.
• Capable of enforcing organizational, safety, and housekeeping standards within the laboratory.
• Ability to lead and train others on the use of complex machinery, tools, and materials.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Hands‑on experience in cable, circuit board, and panel assembly.
• Proficiency with standard lab equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Waveform Generators, etc.).
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
