Job summary

Dexcom is seeking an Electronics Lab Supervisor in San Diego to lead a team of technicians and ensure the laboratory supports next-generation CGM development. You will manage daily lab operations, equipment lifecycle, and ensure compliant, safe practices across all activities.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field, and 0–2 years of leadership in a regulated lab. Experience with oscilloscopes, DAQs, RF equipment, and 6S is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of people leadership in engineering lab, manufacturing, or regulated environment.
• Experience with electronic test equipment and lab operations.
• Strong understanding of safety, calibration systems, and document control.
• Experience in regulated industries preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day Electronics Lab operations.
• Manage a team of lab technicians and support personnel.
• Oversee electronics rework, firmware programming, and electrical testing.
• Oversee laboratory equipment lifecycle: procurement, installation, qualification, calibration, preventive maintenance, retirement.
• Ensure test equipment, instrumentation, fixtures, and lab spaces remain operational for product development.
• Drive 6S initiatives to maintain a clean, safe, productive work environment.
• Support audits, inspections, and quality system requirements with accurate records.
• Develop and improve standard operating procedures and laboratory best practices.
