Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Beatbox Electrical Engineering Co-op to join our Engineering team (Beatbox) located in Danvers, MA.

The Electronics Hardware Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience in schematic design, PCB development, system integration, prototype testing, and troubleshooting while collaborating with experienced engineers across firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Fundamentals of analog and digital electronics.
• Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB design tools.
• Lab equipment experience with oscilloscopes and multimeters is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and evaluation of analog and digital electronic circuits.
• Support PCB schematic capture, layout reviews, and component selection.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot hardware prototypes and engineering samples.
• Perform laboratory testing, data collection, and analysis.
• Assist with engineering documentation, test reports, BOMs, and design specifications.
• Support hardware verification, validation, and regulatory testing activities.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality engineering.
• Participate in design reviews and technical problem-solving activities.
