Job summary

You will work with a diverse engineering team, develop automated tests, and contribute to test planning, execution, and reporting while learning cutting-edge technologies. This internship begins January 2027 and offers exposure to modern software testing practices.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with automated test frameworks such as Pytest is essential.
• Understanding database concepts and experience with SQL-based databases or NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, Rust, or JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate in a team.
• Proven project experience through coursework, personal projects, or internships.

Responsibilities

• Test automation: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Pytest for end‑to‑end testing of medical device software.
• Test planning: Collaborate with developers and QA to design comprehensive test plans.
• Bug identification: Identify, document, and track software defects and work with the development team to resolve them.
• Code quality assurance: Participate in code reviews and walkthroughs to ensure code quality and alignment with standards.
• Test execution: Perform manual and automated testing to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
• Test reporting: Generate and review test reports and provide insights for improvements.
• Continuous improvement: Contribute to test processes and stay up to date with testing tools and techniques.
