Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Beatbox Electrical Engineering Co-op in Danvers, MA to join the Engineering team. The role involves supporting the hardware development lifecycle, from schematic design to prototype testing, under experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed a degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• Fundamental electronics knowledge (analog/digital).
• Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad preferred).
• Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, power supplies) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and evaluation of analog and digital circuits.
• Support PCB schematic capture, layout reviews, and component selection.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot hardware prototypes and samples.
• Perform laboratory testing, data collection, and analysis.
• Create engineering documentation, test reports, BOMs, and specs.
• Support hardware verification, validation, and regulatory testing.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Participate in design reviews and problem-solving activities.
