Job summary

Allegion seeks an Electronics Engineering Manager for the Commercial Openings Division to lead multi-disciplinary engineering efforts that deliver secure access solutions. You will manage Systems, Firmware, and Hardware teams, align with product roadmaps, and drive high-impact NPD initiatives across door and access technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years of engineering leadership, portfolio management, and strategic workforce planning.
• Demonstrated success leading NPD and strategic initiatives.
• Experience leading an engineering team and developing talent.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and executive-partnership skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as electronics engineering interface for COD, coordinating with Engineering and other units.
• Understand COD objectives and strategy and its implications for electronics development.
• Collaborate with Product Management on electronics roadmap for COD.
• Lead electronics NPD execution across COD businesses.
• Ensure design quality, schedule predictability, and cost targets for electronics NPD.
• Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies, escalating as needed.
• Set team objectives aligned with priorities, provide coaching and feedback.
• Forecast resource utilization and address capacity constraints.
