Job summary

Allegion plc is recruiting an Electronics Engineering Manager for the Commercial Openings Division. You will lead Systems, Firmware and Hardware engineering, shaping electronics product development across multiple business lines and ensuring quality, schedule and cost targets are met.

You will partner with Product Management to align the electronics roadmap, forecast resources, and mentor engineers to grow capability and performance within a global safety and security organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering leadership experience.
• Experience in portfolio management and strategic workforce planning.
• Proven success leading new product development and strategic initiatives.
• Experience managing engineering resources and evaluating capacity.
• Strong communication, collaboration and executive-partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electronics development across COD businesses and set roadmap with Product Management.
• Lead Systems, Firmware and Hardware engineering teams and drive NPD execution.
• Ensure design quality, schedule predictability and cost control for electronics products.
• Forecast resources, identify capacity constraints and address them with leadership.
• Coach team members and align objectives with business priorities.
• Develop capability and competency within the electronics team.
