Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineering Manager in Huntington Beach, CA to lead a talented team and shepherd analog/digital designs from concept to production. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strong technical expertise with proven management to deliver cutting-edge, low-power electronic products.

You’ll mentor engineers, drive technical direction, and coordinate with firmware, software, mechanical, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure production readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience leading or managing an electronics engineering team.
• Strong background in analog and digital circuit design, schematics, PCB layout, and PCBA manufacturing.
• Experience managing multiple engineering projects from development through production.
• Ability to review electronic designs and provide hands-on technical guidance.
• Strong understanding of product development processes, project schedules, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the electronics engineering team.
• Oversee multiple product development projects, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Provide technical direction and review electronic designs, including schematics, PCB layouts, testing, and production releases.
• Partner with firmware, software, mechanical, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product development and production readiness.
• Drive engineering processes, design validation, and New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and communicate updates to engineering leadership.
