Job summary

Diversified Technical Systems in Seal Beach, CA is seeking an Electronics Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers in developing data acquisition, sensor, and embedded recording platforms. You will plan projects, monitor schedules, costs, and risks, and coordinate across firmware, software, mechanical, and quality groups to ensure manufacturability and testability.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline; Master’s degree a plus.
Proven leadership and project management experience in engineering.
Ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with PDR/CDR milestones and design reviews.
Experience with analog/digital circuit design and PCB layout.
Knowledge of data acquisition systems and test/measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

Supervise the electronics engineering team to deliver leading-edge, low-power designs.
Plan, scope, and manage product development projects with schedule and budget oversight.
Coordinate with firmware, software, mechanical, quality, and other resources for DFM/DFT.
Review and sign off on electronic designs through conceptual to production stages.
Report progress on cost, schedule, performance, and risks to leadership.
Develop and maintain process and infrastructure for electronic design and NPI documentation.
