Job summary

Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.

Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with a talent for computer programming or scripting.
  • Experience using laboratory test equipment for hardware debug, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters and protocol analyzers.
  • Experience debugging electronics.
  • Experience developing software using text-based languages, such as Python, C/C++/C#, Visual Basic.
  • Experience developing FPGA images using VHDL.
  • Experience with Unix and/or Linux environments.
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills
  • Experience writing and executing test procedures.
  • Experience with cable/harness design.
  • Broad range of electronic circuit design experience in areas such as analog, digital, microcontroller, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), and power supply circuits.
  • Experience with communication protocols (i.e.TCP/IP, RS-422, DMA, PCIE, SPI, I2C, etc.)
  • Electronic circuit design experience.
  • Experience with Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design and schematic capture and PWB/PCB layout interface
  • Experience in hardware/software integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshooting and repair cable setups, PWB/PCB, Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) and a variety of electronic equipment.
  • Experience programming Xilinx FPGAs with VHDL or Verilog.
  • Experience with hardware development life-cycle: requirements, design, development, integration and test, and maintenance.
  • Willingness to learn new environments and work independently in a fast-paced development environment.
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
