Northrop Grumman Corp. seeks an Engineer or Principal Engineer Electronics - Comms to join the Aeronautics Systems sector.

This onsite role may be performed at Tinker AFB, OK, Rancho Bernardo, CA, Palmdale, CA or Melbourne, FL and involves SOW management for COMM avionics subsystems, design documentation, and collaboration with subcontract engineers. The position requires a STEM degree and experience appropriate to level, with the ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance and SAP access; up to 25%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) required; for Engineer level with 2+ years experience, or Master's with no experience.
• Bachelor's in STEM with 5+ years experience, Master's with 3 years or PhD with no experience for Principal Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Perform and execute Statement of Work (SOW) as SMT Communications Avionics Subsystems.
• Document designs with schematics and specifications.
• Collaborate with subcontract engineers to implement subsystem requirements.
• Travel up to 25%.
• Develop design solutions for obsolete hardware.
