Job summary

Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging, is seeking an Electronics Controls Technician for the Villa Rica, GA facility. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical and electronic equipment in a 12-hour night shift environment with a 3/2 rotating schedule.

Qualified candidates will have experience with control systems, PLCs, and reading schematics; NEC knowledge is required.

Qualifications

Knowledge and/or experience with control system hardware and software design.
Knowledge of electrical codes (NEC).
Some experience as Electronics Technician or similar competencies.
Understanding of electrical/electronics systems/troubleshooting.
Basic ability to read PLCs, ladder logic, and communication systems.
Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment.
Modify machinery logic systems (PLCs) and PC-based systems for web-handling processes.
Manage power distribution and electrical distribution system components.
Document parts used and repairs in the management system.
Ensure plant safety rules and housekeeping standards are followed.
