Printpack Inc. is hiring an Electronics Controls Technician in Villa Rica, Georgia. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical/electronic systems including PLCs (Allen‑Bradley, Parker, Siemens), servo motors, and drives within a climate‑controlled plant.

Candidates should read schematics, follow NEC codes, and perform Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out. The position includes a 12‑hour night shift with a $2.50/hr premium and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• : Knowledge of electrical codes (NEC).
• : Experience as Electronics Technician or similar.
• : Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical/electronic systems.
• : Basic ability to work with PLCs, ladder logic, and communications.
• : Familiarity with servo motors and AC/DC drives.
• : Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and distribution systems.
• Modify machinery logic, PLCs, and PC-based control systems (DC/AC drives).
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.
• Acquire spare parts and install power distribution materials for new equipment.
• Run conduit and size wiring for installations.
• Communicate repair actions to operators and leads.
• Document repairs in the management system.
