Job summary

Printpack in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an Electronics Controls Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, and drive systems in a busy manufacturing setting.

You will support safety programs, develop training, back up control software, and participate in continuous improvement while working a 3/2 night schedule (7 pm–7 am) Sun/Wed/Thu and Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience as Electronics Technician.
• Electronics Technology degree preferred.
• Apprentice completion in electrical trades preferred.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain complex electronic/electrical equipment including PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, and control systems.
• Diagnose and repair sophisticated electronic systems ensuring peak efficiency of automated equipment.
• Calibrate, align, and modify components with preventive maintenance.
• Modify and program PLC systems including ladder logic and backups.
