Job summary

Volex, a global connectivity and power solutions provider, is seeking a Purchasing/Procurement professional to quote, procure, and plan electronic components and hardware for manufacturing.

You will develop vendor relationships, manage POs, and work cross-functionally to maintain uninterrupted production while reducing costs and lead times. Requires a 4+ year track record in manufacturing procurement and a US person.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain (Procurement) or Engineering required.
• 4+ years procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills a must.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure electronic components and materials to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Analyze supplier quotes and BOMs to develop accurate, cost-competitive material quotes; identify risks and alternatives.
• Issue RFQs, evaluate supplier responses, and negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms.
• Manage purchase orders end-to-end, ensuring delivery per contract and quality requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and demand; adjust orders to support production schedules.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Sales, Program Management, and Quality to resolve material issues.
