Job summary

ChampionX is seeking an assembler to join our manufacturing team in the United States. The role involves assembling electronic components, subassemblies, and systems according to work orders and drawings.

You will conduct various joining operations with hand and power tools and perform tests to ensure quality. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of relevant experience in fast-paced manufacturing, or at least 6 months with progression/training completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of relevant experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience in assembly, testing of oil and gas service products, automotive repair and maintenance, appliance repair or handheld electronic device repair or assembly.
• Alternatively, at least 6 months of company experience with successful completion of the relevant progression/training plan.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems per orders and drawings.
• Perform joining operations (crimping, staking, screwing, bolting, riveting, welding, soldering, cementing, press fitting) using tools and equipment.
• Test and inspect parts using magnifying devices and electronic test equipment to meet specifications.
• Maintain records, logs, equipment, and supplies.
