Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electronic subassemblies including panels, frames, motors, and PCBs.
• Use schematics, wiring diagrams, and specs to ensure precision.
• Operate power supplies, calipers, and calibrated tools to meet requirements.
• Identify and resolve component issues and perform rework as needed.
• Complete electromechanical assembly tasks including torquing and mating connectors.
• Perform box builds and align circuit cards with proper torquing.
• Quality-check incoming parts and ongoing builds to uphold standards.
• Program and test power supply systems as required.
• Document discrepancies to support quality improvements.

Core Duties

• Perform assembly tasks for mechanical and electronic subassemblies, including panels, frames, motors, and PCBs.
• Utilize technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications to ensure assembly precision.
• Use power supply units, calibrated tools, and calipers to help ensure all builds meet strict technical requirements.
• Identify and resolve component issues, performing necessary rework to help restore system functionality.
• Complete electromechanical assembly tasks, such as hardware torquing and connector mating.
• Execute mechanical box builds, including the alignment of circuit cards and proper torquing.
• Verify the quality of incoming parts and ongoing builds to help maintain high production standards.
• Program and conduct tests on power supply systems as necessary.
• Record and communicate any discrepancies to help facilitate ongoing quality improvements.
• Minimum of 4 years of practical manufacturing experience.
• Must successfully pass a background screening.
• Must be able to complete mandatory HAZMAT training and surveillance.
• U.S. citizenship is a requirement.
• Strong reading comprehension skills for technical work instructions.
• Familiarity with the operation of basic power supply boxes.
• Practical experience with wire routing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Must be willing to perform a soldering assessment during the interview process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of experience in electronic box assembly.
• One year of experience in a leadership or lead assembly capacity.
• Experience operating within a controlled tool environment.
• Practical background in electromechanical assembly.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot electronic systems.
• Proficiency in using calipers and multimeters.
• Hands-on experience with soldering techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic team setting.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Relevant industry certifications, such as IPC J-STD, ESD Safety, Hand Solder, or Cable Harness.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Experience in programming or testing box build assemblies.
• Military technical training, such as Radio Operator Maintainer or Basic Electronics.

Work Location

Must be available for approximately 10% travel.

Salary and Benefits

Annual compensation ranges from $80,000 to $95,000.
