Job summary

TransCore-Amtech Systems (AMS), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, seeks a Manufacturing Operator II to join our Albuquerque, NM team. You will perform mechanical assembly, hand soldering, and operate automated and manual equipment to build PWAs and sub-assemblies.

Qualifications

• 2 years related experience or more
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents/drawings
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Experience with manual PWAs assembly preferred
• IPC soldering certification and automated/test equipment training may be required
• Basic MS Office/data entry and good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly and hand soldering of PWAs/sub-assemblies
• Operate automated and manual assembly equipment (PNA, wave solder)
• Record data accurately by paper or electronic means
