Job summary

Sun Technologies, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Electronics Assembly Technician for a 12-month contract on 2nd shift from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM in Buffalo, NY. The role involves assembling electronic components, soldering, testing, and ensuring quality documentation in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, up to 2 years of assembly experience, and the ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Training on IPC-610/J-STD and safety guidelines is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of assembly or electronic experience.
• Ability to learn new tasks.
• Ability to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components using drawings, diagrams, and job aids.
• Perform soldering, BGA rework, and microelectronics assembly.
• Follow industry standards and perform continuity checks.
• Operate basic production equipment safely.
• Record production data in travelers and quality records.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to clarify build instructions.
• Follow safety, ESD, FOD, and cleanliness guidelines.
• Complete in-house workmanship training classes.
