Job summary

PCB Piezotronics, Inc. is hiring a Microelectronic Technician I for the 2nd shift in Depew, NY. This role involves assisting in transducer assembly, following assembly procedures for microelectronics, and ensuring high-quality amplifier bonds.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and 1–3 years of related experience, with the ability to read assembly drawings and work under a microscope. Training includes ESD compliance and a focus on Total Customer Satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One to three years or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and work under a microscope is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cooperates as a team member of transducer assembly to help the team best serve the customer.
• Understands and implements ISO 9001 requirements and maintains quality standards.
• Complies with all ESD policies and procedures.
• Reads schematics and drawings for amplifiers and performs basic microelectronics assembly.
• Sets up equipment for microelectronics assembly and performs bonding processes with care to maintain bond quality.
• Maintains clean work area and manages inventory levels with lead tech.
