Eaton in Torrance, CA is seeking an Assembler - 1st Shift to join our team. The position focuses on soldering and assembly of electronic components, following IPC‑610 Class 3 & J‑Std‑001 standards and drawings.

The role requires reading BOMs, working from models and schematics, and collaborating across production areas to ensure quality and on-time delivery. Hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a competitive hourly rate of $22.96.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year manufacturing assembly experience.
• 1+ year soldering experience.
• Ability to read drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Perform soldering and assembly per IPC‑610 Class 3 & J‑Std‑001 requirements.
• Build complex electronic assemblies, terminal boards, PCBs, and heat sinks.
• Read drawings, BOMs, and model sheets; follow input documents.
• Cross‑train in different production areas as needed.
• Use measuring/test equipment and hand tools; ensure quality checks.
• Read and interpret blueprints; follow workmanship standards.
