Summary
To assemble electronic components in a variety of printed circuit board assemblies encompassing Surface Mount and Pin Thru-hole technologies in a lean manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Follow assembly procedures and process documentation
Verify integrity of material to be assembled
Assemble and or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards
Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job specific procedures
Responsible for the accuracy of work-in-process
Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding work space
Pre-form component leads per process documentation
Identify and report defective componentsOther responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent education
1+ years’ experience in electronics
Knowledge of component identification and component nomenclature
Electronic component assembly skills
Must pass soldering skills test and be proficient with soldering a led free produce
Eco wiring ability is a plus
Ability to read assembly procedures and follow process documentation in English
Knowledge IPC Acceptability Guideline
Capable of performing job function utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions and visual aids
