Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an Assembler for an electronics manufacturing company in Hibbing, MN. You will build quality electronic and mechanical assemblies in a fast-paced production environment, following work orders and manuals with a team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities include interpreting documents, assembling components, testing, and preparing products for shipment. The role requires hand tools proficiency, basic computer skills, and adherence to ISO9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
• Ability to use hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, measuring devices, crimpers).
• Knowledge of ESD handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and comply with ISO9001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, production routers, BOMs, and product manuals.
• Assemble electronic and mechanical components and PCBs.
• Operate production and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
• Align and position components using fixtures or hand tools.
• Perform inspections and basic go/no-go testing to ensure quality standards.
• Complete intermediate processes such as coating, bonding, and curing assemblies.
• Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.
