Job summary

RTX in Goleta, CA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Electronic Warfare to lead the design, development and implementation of EW systems. This onsite role requires a DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship.

You will serve as the primary systems engineering focal point, manage requirements, interfaces, and verification plans, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in EW/Radar and experience with system-level integration and artifacts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years in EW/Radar systems engineering including requirements decomposition.
Experience creating system artifacts like requirements, specifications, ICDs, and V&V plans.
Experience supporting SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR and cross-discipline coordination.
Active and transferable DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Systems Engineering focal point for the program.
Manage configuration, perform analyses, and translate requirements into hardware/software specs.
Partner with the Chief Engineer to align engineering with cost and schedule.
Provide technical direction to multi-disciplinary teams.
Implement systems engineering processes through the program lifecycle.
Oversee documentation, design, and test plans; coordinate design reviews and risk assessments.
