Job summary

RTX in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Senior Engineer – Electronic Warfare Systems to design, develop, and test EW sensor systems across programs. This onsite role focuses on RF systems, signal processing, and integration, with responsibilities from requirements management to IV&V.

You will support bid efforts, engage with suppliers, and travel up to 20%. A DoD Secret clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience presenting system design information and test results to customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• System Development: understand needs and allocate technical elements.
• System Integration & Test: support integration, verification, and production acceptance.
• Provide engineering oversight for lab test, qualification, and issue analysis.
• Support bid/proposals with labor and material estimations.
• Balance multiple commitments with minimal direct oversight.
