Job summary

KBR is seeking an Electronic Technician Maintenance II to perform corrective and preventive maintenance on IP-based CCTV systems for the CYP CCTV with Access Control Lifecycle Support Service program, supporting the U.S. Navy and Air Force.

The role requires basic to advanced electrical and electronic knowledge and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Travel is up to 70% across the United States and internationally; the position is a Service Contract Act (SCA) role at 40

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Formal electronics training or four-year electronics program required.
• Four years of electronics repair, maintenance, and checkout experience.
• One year electronics installation experience.
• MS Office (Word/Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint) knowledge required.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and remedial maintenance on IP-based CCTV systems.
• Diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions.
• Perform function tests and analysis on various systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning on CCTV components.
• Provide on-site system training and technical support.

Job Summary

The Electronic Technician Maintenance II will be involved in corrective maintenance and preventative maintenance of Video Surveillance systems at Air Force and Navy Child Centers CONUS and OCONUS in support of the U.S. Navy / Air Force CYP CCTV with Access Control Lifecycle Support Service program. The work requires knowledge of basic and advanced electrical and electronic principles as they pertain to security systems and equipment installed at facilities. A successful candidate must have a solid history of functioning in a team environment, being a self-starter, working independently with limited instruction, and meeting critical demands.

Role And Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and remedial maintenance services on IP-based CCTV systems.
• Diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Perform function tests and analysis on various systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning on all CCTV system components.
• Provide on-site system training and technical support as needed.
• Update web-based maintenance management system and provide tracking of government equipment.
• Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and to have the ability work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program. Formal electronics training, to include: Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors.
• Four (4) years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair, maintenance, and checkout.
• One (1) year practical experience in electronics installation.
• Standard MS Office software product knowledge (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point) is required.
• A successful candidate will be subject to a background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preference to candidate with IP-based CCTV experience.
• Special consideration given to candidates with OEM factory training from Genetec, Axis and/or Cisco Switches.

Travel

• 70% travel is required; candidate must be willing to travel throughout the United States and internationally.

Scheduled Weekly Hours

40 hours. M-F 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm

This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position.
