Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate of Science degree in electronics and four years of power plant maintenance experience.
• Solid knowledge of NEC and NESC electrical standards.
• Ability to prepare plant and line construction drawings and electrical layouts.
• Strong troubleshooting and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineers with technical requirements of the Authority's generating facilities.
• Writes technical reports and develops charts, graphs, and schematics of system operation and deviations.
• Discusses layout and assembly procedures with the Plant Electrician Supervisor and clarifies design details.
• Assembles experimental circuitry or prototype models and sets up test apparatus.
• Analyzes test data, calibrates and modifies circuitry, and troubleshoots malfunctions.
• Checks newly installed equipment and records performance under operating conditions.
