Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Electrical Technician I to perform complete assembling and testing of medical devices according to product specifications and process plans. The role requires 1–3 years of electro-mechanical manufacturing experience, preferably in the medical device industry, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP/eQMS/CAD.

You will perform circuit and functional testing, follow established competencies, participate in required trainings, and handle additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years electro-mechanical manufacturing experience; medical device experience preferred.
  • Proficient at reading and interpreting technical documents.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office and ERP/eQMS/CAD.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test products per specifications and process plans.
  • Perform circuit and functional testing on medical devices using analyzers and multi-meters.
  • Follow established skills competencies and execute required training.
  • Adhere to all duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Responsible for complete assembling and testing of products according to product specifications and process plans.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Achieved all required job duties and responsibility Electrical Technician I or equivalent experience.
  • Performs circuit and functional testing on a wide variety of simple and complex medical devices utilizing analyzers, power supplies, multi-meters and other functional equipment.
  • Executes core duties and responsibilities of the role in accordance with the established skills competencies.
  • Executes training as required
  • All other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience
  • High School Diploma or related field of study, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 1 - 3 years of electro-mechanical manufacturing experience is required. Experience in the medical device manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Proficient in understanding and interpretation of written and verbal instructions, direction, and technical information.
  • Basic computer competency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and business specific software (e.g. ERP, eQMS, CAD).
