Job description

The Technician II will perform hands-on electromechanical assembly of sophisticated medical-device products, including work associated with robotic/digital systems and surgical power tools.

A typical day starts with the team's Tier 1 meeting, where the team reviews prior-day performance, discusses expectations for the current day and receives assignments.

The technician then receives their work orders and assembly tools and works through defined manufacturing operations step-by-step to assemble the assigned robot/digital product or power tool. • Assembling electromechanical components/systems
  • Using appropriate tools to complete assigned work orders
  • Following manufacturing procedures exactly
  • Performing or supporting final testing
  • Working toward established production targetsIdentifying when an issue is related to the process versus the assembly/work itself
  • Asking for assistance rather than improvising outside the procedure
