Job summary

Real is seeking a Technician II to perform hands-on electromechanical assembly of sophisticated medical-device products, including robotic/digital systems and surgical power tools. The role follows detailed instructions and-controlled procedures, with participation in final testing to ensure quality and compliance.

Daily routines include a Tier 1 review of prior-day performance, assignments, and strict adherence to production targets in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with electromechanical assembly in highly regulated environments.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical documents accurately.
• Comfort assembling robotic/digital system components and surgical power tools.
• Capable of performing final testing and ensuring procedures are followed precisely.

Job description

The Technician II will perform hands-on electromechanical assembly of sophisticated medical-device products, including work associated with robotic/digital systems and surgical power tools.

A typical day starts with the team's Tier 1 meeting, where the team reviews prior-day performance, discusses expectations for the current day and receives assignments.

The technician then receives their work orders and assembly tools and works through defined manufacturing operations step-by-step to assemble the assigned robot/digital product or power tool. Work continues through the required operations until completion, and technicians may also participate in final testing of the finished assembly.

This is a highly procedural environment. Technicians need to be comfortable:

• Performing mechanical and electrical/electronic assembly
• Working from detailed work instructions and controlled procedures
• Reading blueprints, schematics and technical documentation
• Assembling electromechanical components/systems
• Using appropriate tools to complete assigned work orders
• Following manufacturing procedures exactly
• Performing or supporting final testing
• Working toward established production targetsIdentifying when an issue is related to the process versus the assembly/work itself
• Asking for assistance rather than improvising outside the procedure
